After graduating from Fergus High School in Lewistown, I moved to Bozeman to continue my education at Montana State University. Not knowing what I wanted to do with my life, I took a summer job on a golf course. I began working on high end private golf courses and really enjoyed the work. Because of this, I received my B.S. in Horticulture Science from MSU. I spent 9 years working in the turf management industry.
My family returned to Lewistown, and I started working at Hi-Heat Industries as a Team Leader supervising and problem solving in the production department. After a couple of years, I was promoted to Quality Assurance Manager and oversaw the implementation of Hi-Heat’s ISO program.
When we permanently resettled in Lewistown, I returned to Hi-Heat as the Project Coordinator. In this position, I work on issues that need attention and try to fill in where there may be gaps. I enjoy finding the details of how and why things are done, setting up new procedures and working with other team members in problem solving.
Growing up in central Montana, I developed a passion for the outdoors. My beautiful wife, Paige, a Certified Nurse Midwife, and I have 3 kids, Easton, Hadley, and Rhett. They keep us busy with their extra-curricular activities and interests. We enjoy camping and hunting in our free time.
