Well Hello! I am Quincy McCord and have been working with Hi-Heat Industries since 2001. I work to be able to afford my avid outdoor lifestyle simply because I have not figured out how to get paid to fish! I spend a lot of time in the woods, by a lake, carpentering, or playing with our Labrador retrievers. I have six wonderful kids. Brooklyn, Bailey, Madison, Caden, Aspen, and Bostynn.
I was raised in a small town of 200 people and there were 9 of us in my graduating class. After high school I joined the United States Marine Corps and thoroughly enjoyed it. However, as I got closer to reenlisting it was apparent to me that I needed to find a different occupation because my rebel attitude and authority figures did not go hand in hand. I floated around for 2 years as a yard worker and then a foreman on a construction crew which ultimately led me to where I am at now.
I joined Hi-Heat in 2001 and the rest is as they say history. I am currently a sales and application specialist. I have immensely enjoyed my time here. As part of my training, I have attended the Theory of Constraint International Certification Organization conference in 2010 and 2019. Working for Charlie and Susan has been a privilege and I can say that I have never worked for better people. What I enjoy the most about my job is the people I get to work with both internal and external and the ability to help customers solve their problems. Problem solving happens to be a great source of satisfaction in my life.
