Growing up in Montana, I spent most of my time keeping busy with school and extra-curricular activities. I was actively involved in 4-H, FFA, FHA, basketball, track, and many other activities. Although I was originally from Eastern Montana, the scenery around Lewistown attracted me to the area. Where else could I be less than 10 minutes from hunting or fishing?
I continued down the path of agriculture to pursue an education in Ag business. I attended UND in Williston to receive my associate degree in Applied Science. I went on to MSU-Bozeman before I started working full time at Hi-Heat. I was hired on originally for production and worked in the shop for a year. I then had the opportunity to work in the office. I became the buyer in January of 1995 and eventually transitioned to the sales department. I have been working with customers and their applications for the past 25 years. Building customer relationships is one of the favorite parts of my job. I am actively involved with helping implement TOC in our culture and helping maintain our ISO 9001:2015 certification as an internal auditor.
Outside of work, my hobbies follow my kids. I have enjoyed watching them play youth baseball, girls fastpitch softball, soccer, football, basketball, & hockey. Some of these sports I have also enjoyed coaching. Our family also enjoys camping, hiking, bike rides, hunting, & fishing. I serve on the board for the Ice-Skating Association and am a council member of our church. Life is good.
