I was born and raised in Lewistown MT. My family comes from a farming and ranching background, so my most favorite place to be is out on the old ranch enjoying time with my two boys, my husband and our three dogs. I attended college at Montana State University, Go Cats! I received my bachelor’s degree in Health and Human Development with an emphasis in early childhood development. After finishing school, a friend and I started a daycare center for children 0 to 12. To this day the daycare is a thriving business in Bozeman. My husband and I decided to move back to my hometown, and I called Hi-Heat looking for a job that I could do for six months until I could find something that would fit my degree. I originally started as the Office Team Leader, moved to a training role in Human Resources, and recently accepted the Director of People, Culture and Strategy position. I ended up falling completely in love with manufacturing and Hi-Heat industries and have been here for the last 12 years with no plans on leaving any time soon. I have a passion for watching people learn, grow, and become their best selves, and I get to witness this every day at Hi-Heat.
Since joining Hi-Heat, I have had the opportunity to work on committees in my community to increase our labor market pool. I also earned my Society for Human Resource Management-Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) certificate in 2017. I have had the opportunity to attend a number of SHRM national conferences in order to stay up to date on the latest HR trends and theories. I recently became a lifetime member of the TOCICO organization and have attended the Theory of Constraint International Certification Organization’s international conferences in 2012, 2016, 2018, 2019, 2020, and will attend again in 2021.
I love working at Hi-Heat for so many reasons, the most important are the people that I work with and the work that we do.
