This heater has a high-temperature, pressure-sensitive adhesive to facilitate mounting to a heatsink such as an aluminum plate or metal vessel.  A temperature control board should be used to keep the heater surface at or below 450 degrees F.

Etched foil elements can have distributed wattage to provide more heat along the edges and around holes or notches to provide an even heat distribution across the entire surface.  Higher watt densities allow for fast heat-up and quick recovery.
